After playing five Wechter Scheerhorn guitars (not all at the same place), two mahoganies, a maple and two Rob Ickes models, I noticed that one of the mahoganies and one of the Rob Ickes models were almost lifeless compared to the others; they lacked the bass response and presence that the others had. Is this merely a matter of set up? Has anyone else had similar experience with W/S guitars?
