Will someone explain to me what are and how, do you use the tags. I don't have that figured out yet.

Songs have lyrics, tunes don't ...
Around here, we refer to a tag ending for a song, where you repeat the last sentence or so of the lyrics then end the song.
We also refer to a tag ending for a tune, where you play a lick, after the melody of the tune is ended. Like "Shave and a hair cut --- 2 bits". You've heard them a zillion time Preston, those runs at the end of a tune.
Rarely, as a joke, in one tune we'll do an ending with endless tags, one guy after the guy, adding a run until it gets silly.
So, in this neck of the Californian hills, a tag is something repeated. Hope that helps Preston ...

Will, I think PT's asking about the little box on the forums about tags to be attributed to posts, images, audiofiles, etc. Look in the right sidebar, and there's a section called "Popular Tags". Big and little fonts and lotsa different names, events, etc.
I, too, don't have a good handle on when to tag something. Or what to use an existing tag for.

So, if I have this right, I should tag this thread "TAGS". Yes? And the help/FAQ as well. And the more "TAGS" tags get assigned to posts, then the bigger the font size in the "Popular Tags" sidebar. Then folks can click on the "TAGS" tag in the sidebar and get a list of posts/images/etc., about that particular tag. Is that about it?
