The Tipton bar/EBay thread got me wondering. I have a Tipton RT-1 which prefer over all others, as well as a custom Bradley heat-treated stainless steel bar that I use for back-up and practicing. I like the feel of the chrome bars and I know that since the Tiptons are so hard to get these days if I should order a chrome one from Mr. Bradley. I've heard that the chrome on his bars is 10 times thicker than anyone elses and they have a life-time replacement warrenty on them if you manage to ware it out. I forgot to ask Elmer about these when I ordered my heat-treated SS bar way back when to see if this was true. I know he makes custom lengths, so that wouldn't be a problem. However, I have also heard that Mr. Bradley is retiring, so does anyone know if he is still willing to make bars, or if he at least has any left in stock?
BTW, does anyone know how the edges are on the chrome Bradley bars? I know the heat-treated SS one is and they are not the best for pull-offs. They are sand-blasted over the edges and that might have something to do with it.

I don't believe that he is making anymore, but he does have some for sale, I can't help you much with the chrome though. All I have used are his stainless. Works better for me. That is all I use now.

I talked to Elmer a couple of days ago when I ordered another Capo. He still has plenty of Capos. He has a good selection of bars still, but he is low on some of them.
I'd get one now, and avoid the last minute rush. When they're gone, they're gone.
Elmer's products are the best, and he's a fine gentleman to do business with.

Is there any easy way for us "from over the pound" to get a hold of one of his capos (or bars)? Any online shops got them?
Check E-bay. I got two off ebay, though more expensive.
Don't know the expense, but you could call at 812-432-3205. That's the number Elmer gave me. He does not have a web site. Just sell from home.
