1929 roundneck Dobro for sale. No Dobro decal.  I think this is a no. 55 with a bound fingerboard but no body binding. The serial number is 917. The guitar is overall in very good condition with no cracks and plays well but the following items need to be mentioned. The neck has a very slight bow of 1/32", the four fingerboard dot inlays closest to the bridge are missing, there is a layer of ply missing on the edge of the back upper bass bout that is pictured, and there is scratching on the back of the headstock. There is some buzzing on the top two strings after the 12th fret. The original cone has been replaced with a new National Dobro cone and I am unsure if the tuners are original or not. There is a hardshell case that is either original or of the period. I don't really have a clue as to the value of the instrument so I will be happy to accept offers. If anyone has any information to add please do so or let me know and I will add it to the description.
