I noticed after uploading that the audio is distorted even though my orginal is not. I tried uploading again and again and keep getting error messages to enter Artist and Tile as required fields, even though the Artist and Title are listed. So sorry, the site will not allow me to upload again to replace the audio file.
My wife and I did a duet at a wedding this past Saturday. During the wedding we played this audio clip, the Rose on Harp and Dobro. I thought some of you might be interested in the sound of the Fishman / Aura. I'm using my Brazillian Rosewood-Spruce Meredith. I did not use a mic at all. Fishman > Aura > J48 Di > Mackie Mixer > Inear Monitor Transmitter > Zoom H2.
As a note of humor,
this wedding had some strandard things happen. You'll notice in the recording a couple of women talking to us while performing. I'm not good at talking while peforming a solo. Some children, left unattended were throwing rocks at the side of the building, 3 feet from my head, until I told them to stop. The parents as usual let the kids have their fun. They later rolled a small boulder down a slope which missed my equipment. After some child was told not to play my wifes harp, he went away, then came running by within seconds running his hand across all the strings of the harp. By the end of the wedding the bride and groom got real sloppy drunk, could'nt find our pay. Bride was in big drunken tears. We finally got a check out of them. But, I gained the ability to play dobro while looking over my shoulder for flying rocks.
And it paid better than Bluegrass.
